There is definitely an improvement on today, exactly two weeks from my surgery. After today I can start wearing the compression garments 12 hours a day instead of 24 hours a day – YAYYYYYYY!!!!!. The bruising is nearly gone and the soreness and stiffness is subsiding. The swelling is reduced by quite a bit but the lipo areas are still inflamed and beginning to harden and get lumpy. My pants are FINALLY starting to fit better, but from what I’ve read it can be a month or more before I start to see the Vaser lipo results.

My breast size has gone down considerably, as it was supposed to, but I’m still impressed with the size! They are still red from all of the internal bruising I’m guessing since the doctor managed to do a lot of deep tissue injections (yes, ouch). The stiffness in them is also subsiding a lot except for the areas where he did most of the fat injections along the top and cleavage. There are some lumps that seem to come and go, but I’m told this is normal. There is a risk that cysts can form and will have to be aspirated. They will investigate this at my one month and three month check-ups.

Speaking of check-ups, I went in for my one week check-up at Dr. Shu’s office. This was a really short appointment to take out the sutures and basically just check me out.

In short, I’m an awesome healer! They said my healing is where it should be at the two week mark instead of the one week mark. They were amazed at how “little” bruising there is.

They were also impressed with how my breasts looked.

Channel 5 will be back at my one month appointment to get more pictures and do a post-op interview. This time I have a feeling I will be way less nervous talking to them without the procedure hanging over my head.

I’ve started taking baths and massaging the areas as much as I can. I’ve also found that moving around often is better, laying down is next best and sitting is the worst. I have to get up often at work to stretch and walk around.

Alice, I read your post on the breast augmentaion forum on Make Me Heal. You look fabulous! I had a breast lift 7 weeks ago with no breast implants. I truly would still like to be bigger and have more upper pole fullness, but just don’t want to go with implants. I’m a 38 C now. But look smaller. However, I have some thigh and butt fat that I would love to use to transfer into my breasts for more fullness. Years ago, before they were even doing the fat transfer breast augmentations I used to wish they could do something like that. We all have fat in places we wish we didn’t. Why not put it where it would do some good ,right? I would like to follow your progeresss. Could you tell me who did your procedure and how much it cost to get lipo and then the fat transferred to your breasts? Some Dr’s on Real Self said that it’s still new and experimental. That fat put in differnt places can sometimes cause hard lumps and dead tissue and re absorb back into the body. I know live harvested fat cells have to be injected or it won’t be sucessful. Congratulations and I hope they continue to stay full and lovely as they are. So, happy for you. I lived with sagging boobs for over 20 years after breast feeding and then four years ago they got even worse when I lost 42 pounds..They look like they did in my 20’s now, ( I’m 54) but still not as large or full as I’d like.
I hope you have continued sucess and happiness with your new natural boobies.

Thanks for the comment, Cheryl! I like you always wished I could take the fat from my body and make my breasts bigger. I tried to do a lot of research before doing the procedure, but found there wasn’t a whole lot out there for personal testimonials or “reviews”.

Dr. Shu in Edina, MN did my procedure ( The cost, unfortunately is one of the biggest reasons many people opt for implants over natural. His costs run in the $14000+ range depending on how many liposuction zones they need.

Honestly, after all the pain and suffering the first month or so, I’m feeling really good about having it done.

The cost quoted was actually $12k but yes it can be more depending on how much work they have to do. I of course remember the numbers since I’m the one who paid =)

i consider to do the cell assisted lipotransfer breast augmentation. Now still do the survey. I consult one of clinic -Dr Alice in malaysia, it costs me RM25k is not included garments. my bust is only A+ Dr said that my bust can go up at B+ … it the reasonable of the volumn that she suggested max 300ml can be done to my breast..

Hi Miss Lee, that does sound reasonable depending on how the bra sizes work over there. 300ml is pretty average and depends on how much fat they can get from the liposuction!

You keep losing fat for atleast six months! You go up about 1 cup size but natural fat celks is way better than implants they won’t be as big but natural is always better! Anyway your breasts aren’t suppose to be bigger than your head!
