I went in for my one month checkup and everyone at the clinic was incredibly impressed with how I looked. Dr. Shu was ecstatic, saying it was his best job ever and went on about how I was such an amazing candidate. He explained to me, as it was explained before (but was information I didn’t retain fully), that at about the two month mark my breasts would be at their smallest. They would then start to grow again and be at their maximum, and permanent size in 6-9 months.

Almost two months in I can see this is completely true. Sometimes I think they look the same size they were BEFORE. A quick comparison of pictures and I can see they are still a good cup size bigger than what I started with so I’m very optimistic for the next few months! For fun I even tried on one of my old bras and my breasts were almost popping out of it – it just barely fit. Before the surgery they just barely fit the other way – a B cup was just a tad bit too small and C was almost too large. I’ve still been wearing my 32D bra, and right now I’m not overfilling them like I was when I first got it.

Twin Cities Live was there to finish the interview which is available here. I still haven’t gotten up the nerve to watch it for fear of looking like a complete idiot. I pretty much remember nothing of what I said to them and am left with regrets of what I think I should’ve said that I’m pretty sure I didn’t. Anyway…

The best thing about this procedure I’ve found has been that they feel COMPLETELY natural! All of the hardness and lumps and sensitivity has faded and they feel exactly like they did before (only bigger). And quite honestly I’m thrilled with how they look now. My body feels so much more balanced and I can wear tops with more confidence and satisfaction with how I look. I never would have experienced this without a procedure like this because I am so against implants.

The scars from all of the injection and lipo sites are fading nicely. I’ve been rubbing Bio-Oil on the scars, which in the past I’ve used to reduce the appearance of old stretch marks. It seems to be making a difference. The lipo sites themselves have almost completely healed on my thighs, but the stomach and love handle areas still feel tight, sometimes lumpy and surprisingly itchy.

I HAVE been keeping up with using the hormone cream. I realize it’s not very scientific but if they’re bigger they’re bigger, right? Also, I’ve been experiencing the added benefit of less PMS.

I’ve also been taking vitamins, eating healthier, and working out again! It feels great to be getting back in shape! I still haven’t made it down to my pre-weight-gaining  weight number, but I’m down a good five pounds from my post-surgery weight. My last weigh-in was 134 lbs. I’m hoping to get down to my target weight of 125lbs in two months.

I don’t have any pictures at the moment, but I’ll be sure to share one soon.

Alice, I’ve recently did the first round of fat transfer I’m just wondering if I should do the second round ? Could you please give me some advice?

      Hi Rach,

Sorry for the delay in my reply! I would say it’s completely up to you whether you opt for a second round. For me, the only thing holding me back is the financial obligation. If you have the means and the desire, plus a positive first round, I would definitely go for it!

      Hi Sinya,

Sorry for the delay in a reply! My first blog post “The Surgery” (http://www.projectalice.com/the-surgery/) has a lot of details. We got the clinic around 8:30 and I didn’t get home until late afternoon. That was after the prep and a little recovery afterwards. Dr. Shu quoted me $12,000 for my specific procedure, but it does vary depending on how many lipo zones they utilize from what I was told.
