I LOVE Christmas. And it’s not just the shopping. Okay, I love the shopping a lot. I sometimes have a “one for you, one for me mentality” when doing my Christmas shopping, and with Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals, it can be hard to resist.
Here is my list of 10 must have’s for this Christmas season!
1. Sparkling tights
‘Tis the season to sparkle. Add some shimmer to your legs and pair with your favorite LBD, or festive skirt!
2. Gold polka dots
I’m completely in love with polka dots, and this year the gold polka dots have my eye. Nobody seems to be better at this than Kate Spade. Add gold polka dots to your outfit with fabulous wallets, clutches, bags, or even shoes.
3. Sequin sweatshirt
Comfy chic is IN this season, so why not spice up your comfy wear with some sparkly sequins?
4. Motorcycle boots
These look killer over leggings or skinny jeans. If you get a brand like Bare Traps you’ll get the added benefit of waterproof boots and toasty toes!
5. Slouchy beanie
Slouchy beanies are the latest rage. Pick neutral colors to play it safe or choose vibrant colors to brighten your outfit! If you’ve got a round or wide face, try a beanie with a rolled edge, this will help de-emphasize the size of your face.
6. Touchscreen gloves
Taking off your gloves to take a selfie or text your bff’s can be a cold endeavor in the winter! Choose playful colored touchscreen gloves to bring a pop of color to sometimes neutral winter attire.
7. Statement necklace
Statement necklaces are easy to turn any outfit into a high-fashion one.
8. Oxblood dress
Oxblood is kind of the it color of the season, and works perfectly for the holiday season! Pair it with tights, booties and your favorite statement necklace to wow everyone.
9. Boot socks
Boot socks just peak out above your favorite ankle or calf-high boots. They go equally well over leggings and skinny jeans for a cool, casual look.
10. Eternity (circle) scarves
Comfy casual is in, and nothing is warmer and comfier than a circle scarf. Get a thick knit one for warmth and style and wear over your coat to show it off, or an embellished one for more delicate wardrobe ensembles.
Okay. I couldn’t contain the list to 10. Here are two bonus wardrobe must-haves!
